Platform Tanzania is a non-governmental organization committed to empowering adolescents and youth in Tanzania by promoting sexual and reproductive health (SRH) awareness and education. Addressing the negative SRH outcomes including early pregnancies, early marriages, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence. At Platform Tanzania, we believe that informed and empowered youth are the foundation of a healthy, educated, and productive society. Through school and community outreach platforms, we employ ecological systems approach and human-centered design to ensure our interventions are both holistic and sustainable. We work closely with teachers, parents, healthcare professionals, social workers, lawyers, police officers, educational leaders, school health task forces, local leaders, non-governmental organizations, religious institutions, social media influencers, and all relevant stakeholders to promote physical, mental, and social well-being among adolescents.
